[Imagination Club] Challenge: island survival strategy

We have two days still starvation.
We don't know the language.
We have nothing but our parachute.
We cant pick fruit or kill animals.

Options:
change the parameters - enable my body to live longer without food through
meditative practice and energy conservation, thus providing more time to
find solution.
observe the tribes people - who has influence, not necessarily the leader,
but the influencer. Find a way to relate.
Perhaps what we have to trade them is not our knowledge (why do we always
assume that tribal people want to be like us) - but our willingness to
learn.
Once trust has been established by learning, discover a problem they have
and offer solutions.
It may be that we become the household servant to the tribe.

Lastly, build a hangliding unit from the parachute - offer rides for food.

I am representing a fictional situation. Probably you will never face this
situation in your life. But still, use your imagination to come up with
solution.

Situation: You are only survivor from a plane crash. You have landed on
some isolated island using parachute, you don't know where. You don't have
any mean for communication with outer world. Oh yes, to add in tragedy there
are few tribes people who have their own dialect which you can not
understand.

Only food available on the island is the food produce by tribes people.
You can not have fruits or kill animals as tribes people will not allow you
as they are sacred to them. I repeat: ONLY FOOD AVAILABLE ON THE ISLAND IS
THE FOOD PRODUCE BY TRIBES PEOPLE. To survive you must get food from tribes
people. Without food you can survive for two days. This is your first day.

Challenge: They will not give you food until you can trade something
useful to them. Your challenge is sell them something with or without
learning their dialect. Of course they will not give you food second time if
they think what you have given them is not useful or you have nothing
anymore to trade. Find a long term solution.

  Happy brainstorming session!

  Regards,
  MD

The imagination club is very new and is about stretching
our imaginations and sharing creative ideas.

So far, I've basically presented challenges to the club and
you've come up with some creative solutions.

I'd really like YOU to throw some challenges to the group
as well. They can be real challenges that are relevant to
your business, pastimes or life - or invented challenges.
