Hello Fellow Imagineers!
We can sure use stress relief.
Video games are fun
Nerf balls and target practice (or paintball for those with a more killer instinct)
Slinky toys (do we ever outgrow them)?
A sundae bar
Dress up/charades
Make the floor into a game and the employees are game pieces; nice to see some bosses get sent back to start
Picnics
Coloring/art-crafts props as suggested by Randah, but don't forget the glitter
We even had a dunk tank with the bosses as dunkees
Lots of companies have "War Rooms" but how many have a fun room?
Spend the day off site immersing yourself in the life of those who use your products (hey I'm in Market Research)
Put a fun tip of the day on the front door
Celebrate the little things in life - I found a penny today YEEAAH!
Remember Silly Putty!
Stamp your hand as you enter building
Well work beckons so I have to put my imagination on hold for now!

Hello Jeffrery and all,
I think of this challange all the time. how can we make our workplace more playful? here are some ideas.
- play dough! stress goes away when you keep pressing and pressing and soon new shapes come out. the trick is to get dirty and not worry a bit.
- water slides and a place where someone can simply "float" staring at the sky. if it's a closed playground, the ceiling could be painted in 3d shapes so the trained eye could find new shapes that will inspire, the untrained eye could start its training.
- I've done stress management workshops, and everytime I bring a big box of lego. I don't even have to tell the participants what to do, they get fully immersed in it. I find it a real stress reliever and also people build their dreams in it.
- lots of paint, spray, finger and brush paints. with many hanging papers of paint spread all over. the idea is not to intimidate the non-artist, but to give him/her a chance to try it out. other execs are to look at paintins, interpret it and try to connect it with problems they have at work, the look of it, the feel of it, the solution to it. a good facilitator is needed.
- I've got many more ideas but my boss is sitting smiling in front of me while I pretend to work.
cheers
