hi Merrick,

how i would approach this is get clear your self what you want and why
it would be good for the business. Go in with solutions or at least
questions orienteted to getting a solutions outcome.

What is the ultimate outcome you/boss want for the leadership team and
the business?

What do you/boss need ie skills, attitudes, outlooks on the team to
achive that?

How can this best be achieved?

What about the current stucture and people needs to change to acheive
that outcome?

Is a resturucture the only way to go or could you reshuffle portfolios,
reporting parameters, focus etc to get the same outcome.

I often find that with a different perspective, and a drive to succeed
(all shooting fo rhte same goal) the same people often can do very
different things.

Thank You

Hi,
I have a challenge for the group.
I am currently in a business that is restructuring the leadership team
of
which I am a part. The new proposed model doesn't include my current
role,
rather an amalgamation of two. I need to discuss this with my boss but
want
to ensure that I do it in a manner that is seen to be supportive of
the
changes but also brings about a positive outcome for all concerned.
How
would you approach this?

Thanks,

Merrick.
