Let's pretend what, you say.  Let's pretend there is no electricty
and we have to continue to do our jobs.  How can we do our jobs
if we have no electricity?  If there are ways to continue, 
people will surely come up with ideas because necessity is the
mother of invention, and so is cost cutting.

Remember in the USA, many of our inventions come from wartime
necessities or space travel innovations from neccesities.

Good challenge!
